Her first contact with metals, was in 1984, at the António Arroio high school. Graduated in Jewelry, at ArCo school, in 1991. Scholarship at ArCo from 1989/90. Invited twice, to exhibit at Schmuck, Munich, in 1992 and 2007. Co-founder of the ZDB gallery, in 1994. Managed the ARTICULA gallery from 2007/12. Taught Jewelry course at ArCo from 2016/19.
Won a grant, from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, for her puppets project “Way through the other side” in 2004. Had solo exhibitions at the Puppet Museum and the Money Museum in 2014 and 2016.
Created jewelry collections, inspired by museum heritage, for the company Archeofactu, from 1999/08. Her work is regularly present in solo and group exhibitions, both nationally and internationally.
In 2024, she celebrated 40 years of her career and had a solo exhibition at the 2nd Contemporary Jewelry Biennial in Lisbon. Her work is part of the collection of MUDE – Museum of Design and Fashion, Susan Beech Collection, Tereza Seabra Collection and other private collections.
