Artist Statement

Interested in forms and their contents, in the perception of space, the illusory and the apparent, using a variety of materials that, in their simplicity, reveal the most basic characteristics of the relationship between objects and their environment.

In this transfer of the idea to the three-dimensional, an additional estrangement occurs, fiction stops being speculative or projectual and begins to materialize and participate in existing things. Using the body as support for these objects.

Objects thought from memory; as a measurement tool, where balance, contact and trust play a fundamental role. A series built with segments of glass, 925 silver, magnet and rubber, water containers, lavender essential oil, harvested and distilled in the Hills of Córdoba – Argentina by La Lágrima.

Jewelry that is attached to the body using a magnet system, at this point is where I decide to work with contact and trust, generating a certain tension in them.
