Pedro Calapez (Lisbon, 1953, where he lives and works) began taking part in exhibitions in the seventies and in 1982 had his first solo exhibition. He has exhibited his work – painting, sculpture, installation – in various galleries and museums, in Portugal and abroad. He is represented internationally in several public and private collections. Created important public works and also developed work in many techniques like jewellery, graphic arts, theatre set design, etc.
