Leonor Hipólito’s artistic expression mainly combines jewellery, poetry, drawing, sculpture and installation. She holds a degree in Contemporary Jewellery from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam (1995-99), and studied at Parson’s School of Design in New York (1998), which allowed her to reinvent her relationship with sculpture, which she had studied at AR.Co in Lisbon in 1994. She works as an independent artist since 1999. Her career spanning over twenty-seven years is marked by collective and individual exhibitions, lectures, workshops and tutorials in Portugal and abroad, as well as his editorial work, in collaboration with photographer and graphic designer Arne Kaiser, with the publication of her poetry and art books since 2009.
