We live in a world full of diversity, among diverse cultures, diverse colors, diverse sounds, diverse things: some we like, others we don’t. Regardless, we exist amidst a myriad of events that affect us in more or less subtle ways, that change our way of being in the world, that teach us to live in a daily life where, increasingly, opposites manifest themselves simultaneously.

Of all the dichotomies with which we have to coexist, perhaps the most evident is the precarious dance between life and death. This is the theme addressed in this work through the adventures of a notorious gang of evildoers who daily defy death and live with it as a partner: the pirates.

Cheerful and rebellious, they inhabit places of great beauty and live life to the fullest with the best that life has to offer: the sea, the waves, the wind, magic, friendship, courage, celebration, rum… and gold teeth.

May they, then, remind us that because of the presence of death, life is more beautiful. May we, like them, live life to the fullest and gather from life all possible and impossible treasures.
Full sail ahead!
